For a neutral drug molecule, either the pharmacopeial monograph method or the QC HPLC mobile phase and column may be used. For mobile phase a common option is methanol combined with an ammonium carbonate buffer (pH 7.0) works better. In general, organic solvents with high purity and low viscosity are recommended. For column, typically C18 column (particle size 5μm and 3μm) with a length of 15mm and internal diameter of 4.6mm can be used.
